The True Meaning of Freedom

When we celebrate freedom, we often think we’re set free to pursue our plans and dreams.
Then we read Romans 7:4:
“In the same way, brothers and sisters, you have died to the laws in Moses’ Teachings through Christ’s body. You belong to someone else, the one who was brought back to life
As a result, we can do what God wants.” (GOD’S WORD Translation)
Freedom is not about doing what we want to do.
Freedom is not an unrestricted license to pursue our passions.
We’re set free from sin and death
to do what God wants, to serve each other through love.
