Are You Reliant on God?
"A person’s steps are directed by the Lord,
and the Lord delights in his way.
When he falls, he will not be thrown down headfirst
because the Lord holds on to his hand."
(Ps 37:23-24,
GOD'S WORD Bible)
If you’re a Christ follower, God promises that when you stumble, he holds you by the hand.
If you fall, he’ll help you up.
But if you’re struggling to get by without the power of the risen Savior, all you can do is rely on your strength, skills, and abilities.
As we study dependence, we'll dive deep into the idea of being reliant on Christ, a key dimension of your leadership identity in Christ.
In the meantime, may the Lord grant you success in all you do!
Satisfy us every morning with your mercy
so that we may sing joyfully and rejoice all our days.
Make us rejoice for as many days as you have made us suffer,
for as many years as we have experienced evil.
Let us, your servants, see what you can do.
Let our children see your glorious power.
Let the kindness of the Lord our God be with us.
Make us successful in everything we do.
Yes, make us successful in everything we do.
