Regardless of your budget or institutional size, faith-based institutions need to use an appropriate level of affordable technologies available to them. Ideally, an institution should utilize the most technology they can reasonably afford. However, regardless of an institution’s investment in technology, the planning, budgeting and monitoring process is a human activity rife with emotions and character challenges funding from its fundamental purpose to measure human performance and make people accountable. As such, technology needs to be utilized with the help of the Holy Spirit and with touches of care and love.

In this webinar we will discuss theory and key concepts in the Information Technologies planning and budgeting process. We’ll look at budgeting approaches and budget flexibility to manage its dynamics. We’ll consider the promise and benefits of technology and look at the pros and cons of budgeting software. From there we will look at the challenges of collaboration and commitment to staying within budget, monitoring performance and best practices.
