Worthy of the Gift - Three Part Series

Part One: Increasing Wallet Share - July 19
Virtually every organization would like to increase wallet share.  However, focusing exclusively on current giving limits exposure to the donor’s broader “wallet” constraining the opportunity set.  Approximately 10% percent of a donor’s asset base is readily available to fund current cash-based giving.  To broaden your exposure to encompass a donor’s full financial capacity your organization must prepare itself to facilitate larger more complex gifts.

Part Two: Tying Current Giving to Deferred Giving - July 26
Utilizing your donor engagements more effectively opens the door to more significant financial discussions.  As you approach your donors about potential current gifts an awareness of the larger opportunity set available through “planned gifts” may result in a “win, win” situation in which the donor increases his/her current gift while at the same time considering a more significant deferred gift.

Part Three: Operating with a Kingdom Mindset - August 2
Operating on your donor’s agenda is the best way to cement the donor relationship.  Ultimately, successful fundraising is dependent on relationship building and trust.  By improving the “worthiness” of your organization to receive a gift, building improved relationships, and focusing on the donor’s full financial capacity, organizations can significantly improve their fundraising ability.

Learning Objectives - Attendees will be able to:
